Mission
The goal of the Model Minority Reality Project is to initiate a conversation about the realities of living with "model minority" stereotypes and uncover what can be done about such stereotypes by understanding the "model minority" stereotype, discussing current topics concerning Asian Americans, and learning how to stand out.

Understand the "Model Minority" Experience
Question the extent to which the "model minority" stereotype is true and reflect on experiences and relationships with Asian stereotypes.

Discuss Current Topics Concerning Asian Americans
Talk about relevant subjects such as Affirmative Action, the lack of Asian American professionals in executive positions, Asian representation in media, etc.

Learn How to Stand Out and Seek Individuality
Identify what can be done to stand out in the face of "lacking personality traits" and how to educate others about the Asian American identity.
